This can be useful if you want to:

  • Find out all the available info about the image: who owns it, when was it created, etc.
  • Track the source of any photograph or image from any platform (facebook, instagram, whatsapp, snapchat)
  • Find out all the places where an image appears on the web
  • Find similar images

This process is also called Google reverse image search.

How does it work?

We use Google's reverse image search strategy: when you upload an image and click the "Google search image" link, it initiates a query to Google's image search engine. Google then processes the uploaded image's visual features, compares them with its vast image database, and returns a list of visually similar images. This process relies on sophisticated algorithms that analyze patterns, shapes, colors, and other visual attributes to find resemblances within its image index, enabling users to discover related pictures from around the web.
